Teresa Flores

Region 2

Teresa Flores has served on the Ingleside ISD Board for eight years and has held the positions of board secretary and board president.  She has completed one year as the Region 2 Director on the TASB Board where she also served on the TASB Budget and Finance Committee and the TASB Director Mentorship Special Committee. Flores is a financial advisor and certified financial manager with Merrill Lynch. Previously she was an area manager for Bealls Department Stores. 

After graduating from Ingleside High School, she attended Del Mar College. She currently participates in local school events and has a special interest in legislative activity involving education. Most recently she has been asked to participate on the District 32 Representative’s Educational Advisory Committee.

Civic involvement includes five years as president of the high school band booster organization, one year on the board of directors for the Corpus Christi Harbor Playhouse, two years on the Corpus Christi Symphony Community Outreach Committee, and four years working with Little League as treasurer and player agent to more than 450 children and their parents. She is also a regular attendee of City Council Meetings, City, and Chamber Events.
