An assertive, proven leader with experience as a teacher, principal, and superintendent
Approachable and respectful of all races
A peacemaker and effective team builder who can unify the district and community
Courageous and tactful in confronting difficult groups and issues constructively
An experienced planner who can establish a shared vision and set direction for the district
Involved in and visible throughout the community and district
A positive role model of integrity, morals, and honesty
An effective communicator who is confident and articulate in dealing with the Board, staff, and community
Able to work in partnership with a Board of Trustees to build a climate of candor, mutual trust, and cooperation
