Online Learning Center Courses

Find the courses and training you need to successfully lead and govern in your school district.

The TASB Online Learning Center (OLC) is a resource designed to support Texas school board members, like you, with ongoing professional development programs available anytime and anywhere. You can maintain and expand the specialized skills and knowledge you need for your board service.  As a board member, superintendent, or education leader, you need courses, trainings, and continuing education opportunities designed to expand your knowledge and skills so you can effectively oversee your school district and maximize student achievement.

The TASB OLC offers courses for varied levels of board service experience, including:

  • First-time board members
  • Experienced board members
  • Specialized board duties, such as board officers

With TASB’s Online Learning Center, you can find courses tailored to your specific learning needs. Whether you seek to understand more about advocacy, board governance, or parliamentary procedure, you can get the training you want when it’s convenient, no matter your location or schedule.

You can browse a catalog of courses in the OLC and immediately access online offerings. Some courses are provided for free, while others require payment by credit card or district purchase order. Most courses require an investment of one hour.

Use your TASB log in for easy access to OLC courses and to have your credits recorded directly into your credit report. Contact onlinelearning@tasb.org for help logging in or accessing courses.
