Regulations Resource Manual

Why create administrative regulations and forms from scratch when you can use the Regulations Resource Manual?

You don’t have to create your district’s administrative regulations and forms from scratch. Policy Service’s TASB Regulations Resource Manual (RRM) provides a collection of samples that you can use as a starting point.

These sample documents are developed by TASB policy consultants and reviewed by TASB Legal Services before publication. The coding of the RRM is consistent with the local policy manual and includes two kinds of documents:

  1. Regulations: Sample procedures, plans, and guidelines
  2. Exhibits: Sample forms, notices, flowcharts, and resolutions

How to Use the RRM

District administrators can download the sample documents in PDF or Word format and customize them to reflect district practices. The customized documents can then be added to the district’s collection of regulations and exhibits maintained by the district.

We update the RRM every time we issue a TASB numbered update to local policy manuals. These updates stem from legislation and legal and local policy changes. TASB notifies districts of these electronic updates by email.

You can access the RRM through the Policy Online® Governance and Management Library.
