TASB Policy Service, in partnership with TASB Legal Services, invites you to an essential training webinar on the post-legislative update to the TASB Model Student Code of Conduct (MSCOC).
Your Student Code of Conduct is one of your district’s most critical governance documents. Required by Chapter 37 of the Texas Education Code, it outlines expectations for student behavior, due process rights, and disciplinary procedures. It also serves as a key communication tool for administrators, teachers, students, and parents.
With recent updates from the 89th Legislative Session, now is the time to review and revise your Code to reflect the latest legal requirements and best practices.
During this one-hour webinar, TASB experts will:
- Walk you through the most impactful legislative changes
- Highlight what your district must address in its local Code
- Answer your questions live in a Q&A session with a TASB Legal Services attorney and a TASB Policy Service consultant
Staying current isn’t just best practice; it’s essential for legal compliance, student success, and district accountability.
Fee: $100 per person.
Registration questions can be sent to registrar@tasb.org. For additional information about Policy Service training, please email us at policy.service@tasb.org or call 800-580-7529.
Please note: The Model Student Handbook (MSHB) and the MSCOC will be published in mid-July. This webinar will not address any content changes to the MSHB. If you are interested in this topic, please sign-up for the Post-Legislative Changes to the Model Student Handbook webinar.
