TASB HR Services has supported HR leadership in Texas public schools since 1984 with a singular mission to meet school districts’ growing needs for human capital information, data, and guidance. HR Services provides expertise districts can trust, from all levels of specialized training to data that drives decisions.
Members have the opportunity to take advantage of a variety of consulting services including compensation services, employee opinion surveys, HR operations reviews, and staffing reviews. Services are priced individually based on the size and scope of the project.
HR Services membership also provides access to TASB HRDataSource™, the premier tool for creating custom job market reports with data collected by HR Services surveys.
Membership Benefits
HR Services members receive support from knowledgeable consultants and access to the following resources:
- HR Library: An online encyclopedia of information that includes discussion of HR-related topics and model forms and letters.
- Model Employee Handbooks: Easy-to-use resources for the development of a district- or collegewide employee handbook. Resource materials are correlated to TASB’s proprietary policy codes and can be easily customized to match local policies.
- Model Job Descriptions: A collection of samples including 218 titles common to public schools and 88 common to community colleges designed to be edited and revised to accurately reflect local job assignments, qualifications, and working conditions.
- TASB HRDataSource™: An online data compilation tool used for creating customized reports, which draw data from our salary and HR surveys, covering a variety of job benchmarks and HR practices common to Texas school districts and community colleges.

How To Join HR Services
TASB Members (Active, Associate, and Affiliate) can join TASB HR Services and receive the support, data, and resources for your entity’s HR needs. Complete our New Subscriber form (pdf) and send it to hrservices@tasb.org.
Annual subscription fees are based on district size and provide members with access to an online library of reference information, model forms, handbooks, job descriptions, and TASB HRDataSource™.
