Busse Savage Elected to State Association Board
Austin— Alison Busse Savage of Lyford CISD has been elected to a three-year term on the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Board of Directors, representing TASB Region 1, Position A. The election was held during the Association’s 2024 Delegate Assembly on Sept. 28 in San Antonio.
Born and raised in Lyford, Busse Savage is a proud graduate of Lyford High School. She joined the Lyford CISD Board in 2013.
After attending Texas A&M University in Kingsville, she began working in various telecommunications roles and now serves as a senior manager for Realpage Technology Services, where she oversees new multifamily development and implementation.
Busse Savage is active in her community, serving as president of the Willacy County Livestock Show and Fair, a committee member of the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show and Rodeo, and as a member of Relay Life, The Algodon Club, and the Lyford FFA Alumni Association.
She is a graduate of Leadership TASB and a Master Trustee.
