Prykryl Elected to State Association Board

Austin— Beth Prykryl of New Caney ISD has been elected to a three-year term on the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Board of Directors, representing TASB Region 6, Position A. The election was held during the Association’s 2022 Delegate Assembly on Sept. 24 in San Antonio.

Prykryl was elected to the New Caney ISD Board in 2016 and currently serves as assistant secretary for the board, a position she also held in 2016-17.

A sixth generation Texan, she crossed the Red River for a few years to obtain her bachelor’s from the University of Central Oklahoma and her Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. As a practicing oil and gas attorney of 15 years, Prykryl enjoys the challenges of energizing Texas with Texas energy. Since 2012, she has served as a lawyer for Valence Operating Company.

Prykryl is a member of the Lion’s Club, American Association of Professional Landmen, and the State Bar of Texas.
