Statement From TASB on Nov. 17, 2021, Letter From Texas Congressional Delegation
Austin— TASB has issued a formal response to Rep. Chip Roy and other members of the Texas congressional delegation's Nov. 17 letter to TASB. The letter was an inquiry regarding the National School Boards Association's communication to the Biden administration in Sept. 2021.

TASB is a nonprofit organization established in 1949 to serve local Texas school boards. School board members are the largest group of publicly elected officials in the state. The districts they represent serve more than 5.4 million public school students.
