Wagaman Elected to State Association Board

Austin— The Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Board of Directors has elected Theresa Wagaman of Conroe ISD to an interim position on the TASB Board, representing TASB Region 6, Position B.

Wagaman is serving her first term on the Conroe ISD Board of Trustees and is currently second vice-president for the board.

A native Texan, she is actively involved in local community organizations, including The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce; the YMCA Advisory Board of Directors; the Behavioral Health and Suicide Prevention Task Force; the National Charity League, Inc., Bluebonnet Chapter; and the Houston Association of REALTORS®. Wagaman currently serves as president-elect on The Woodlands Rotary Club Board and a sustainer with the Junior League of The Woodlands. She also is a member of the Leadership Montgomery Class of 2021.

She attended Texas Tech University where she earned a bachelor's degree in communications and English. Wagaman is a licensed residential REALTOR® with Compass Real Estate, serving The Woodlands, Spring, and surrounding areas for more than 14 years.
