Webinar Series Offers Information on Critical Policy Topics
The Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Policy Service team is encouraging school district trustees, superintendents, and administrators to register for webinars being offered on key policy issues impacting Texas public schools.
“At TASB, we are committed to serving our members and equipping them with the resources they need to navigate the evolving legal landscape and resulting policy implications,” Policy Service Division Director Amanda Bigbee said. “It’s part of the advantage of a TASB membership, and why we have carefully selected topics for these webinars that will have the most impact and benefit for the members we serve.”
Upcoming webinars include:
- Academic Achievement Policies, scheduled for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12
- Policy 101 for Board Members, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on both Tuesday, Jan. 14, and Wednesday, Jan. 22
- TASB’s Numbered Update, scheduled for 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6 (Learn more about the Numbered Update)
Stay tuned for more topics and dates, including a session on Increasing Transparency with Policy Online, Policy Alerts, and more. Check tasb.org under “Training & Events” to search for upcoming webinars.
