Legislative Advisory Council II Meeting

Members of the Legislative Advisory Council (“LAC”) are invited to review the proposed priorities that LAC members develop during the LAC I meeting on April 20, 2024. The LAC will be able to discuss and make changes to the priority list during the LAC II meeting before making its final recommendations to the TASB Board. LAC members will also have the opportunity to vote for four LAC members to sit on the TASB Board’s Legislative Committee for the next two years. 

Registration

New this year! LAC members who want to attend the Legislative Advisory Council II meeting and who will also be attending the Summer Leadership Institute in San Antonio can now combine their registrations into one! Access the SLI registration page and register for the conference as you normally would. You’ll see an option to select the LAC II meeting during the registration process. Please email registrar@tasb.org if you have any questions.

LAC members that only want to attend the LAC II meeting, but not the rest of the Summer Leadership Institute, should request to be registered for the LAC II meeting only by emailing tasbgr@tasb.org
