Established in 1987, the school provides a loving and engaging learning environment where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually. Our school will feel like a second home to you and your family in no time. Here are some of our priorities and goals when it comes to caring for and educating your child.
Fostering a Love for Learning
Our focus is on the whole child. Serving children from infancy through pre-K (ages three months to five-years-old), we help children develop the academic, physical, and social-emotional skills to build a strong foundation for their future learning. Our outstanding group of teachers will help your child love learning from an early age.
Children learn and discover a wide variety of concepts and themes through our play-based curriculum. Throughout the school day, our teachers encourage independence and scaffold age-appropriate self-help skills. We focus not only on growing knowledge, but also creating kind, empathetic humans who learn to clearly communicate their feelings and resolve conflicts.
Our curriculum features gross- and fine-motor development with lots of outside time, weekly creative movement classes, and art activities to provide them with a fun and well-rounded learning experience. Twice monthly visits from our storyteller help build listening skills and stimulate the imagination. Children also have the opportunity to stretch their skills in weekly extracurricular gymnastics classes with the Groovy Bus.
Our pre-K curriculum follows the TEA's Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines and includes research-based, hands-on activities and stories to prepare children for kindergarten.
Creating a Safe Learning Environment Where Your Child Can Thrive
Our small class sizes and low teacher-to-student ratios allow for the personalized learning of each child in a safe and nurturing environment. Every classroom is equipped with a variety of toys, activities, and equipment to support the care and learning of your child. We also have a wonderful, secure on-site playground sectioned off into separate spaces so that each area is age appropriate, safe, and most important, fun!
Providing You with Peace of Mind
We exist to provide families with a nurturing, joy-filled “home away from home,” where children don’t just grow but thrive. We want you to go about your day worry-free, knowing your kids are in good hands! Here are a few noteworthy items when it comes to our daily schedule and procedures:
- We are open 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
- Tuition includes nutritious snacks throughout the week and lunches on Fridays.*
- Every class has a daily nap/quiet time to help the children recharge and get some midday rest.
- We provide all parents access to a parent engagement app, where you will receive real-time updates, photos, and videos throughout the day so you can see for yourself what your child’s day has been like.
*Lunches need to be packed Monday-Thursday, and you are always able to send your child with their own lunch/snacks from home. We are well-versed in accommodating a variety of food allergies but are specifically a peanut-free school.
