Extra-Duty Stipend Survey Now Open
The 2024-2025 TASB Extra-Duty Stipend Survey is now accepting responses!
An email invitation to participate in this year’s survey was sent to the main survey contact in each district on Thursday, October 17. Additional HR Services contacts will receive reminders until the deadline if their district’s survey has not been completed. The Extra-Duty Stipend Survey has fewer benchmarks and data fields to enter compared to the District Personnel Survey, so it typically is completed faster.
The survey deadline is November 14.
Participant Facts
- On the first day the survey was open, 46 districts completed the survey. Within the first week, 128 districts submitted completed surveys, compared to 96 by the end of the first week last year.
- More than 500 districts participated in the survey each of the previous two years, with an average of 472 responses over the last 10 years. Some years see higher or lower participation due to current events impacting school districts, and we’ve seen an increase in participation with our online survey and streamlined reminders.
- Median enrollment of participants so far is 1,629. Completed surveys range from 13 districts with fewer than 200 students to 17 districts with more than 20,000 students.
Other Surveys
Did you miss the deadline for the TASB District Personnel Salary Survey? We can accept late responses but may need additional time for processing and data verification. HR Services analysts are completing data checks and will contact districts where clarifications are needed. New data will be available December 5 via TASB HRDataSource™ (member login required).
Our HR Surveys will be conducted in January and February with more details announced as we get closer. Visit the HR Services Survey Resources page for more information about our current and upcoming surveys.
