HR Services to Conduct Pay Increase Poll
HR Services will resume their annual pay increase quick poll after skipping a year due to the legislative session.
This year’s poll, set to launch on February 27, has been expanded to cover mid-year pay increases, as well. Participation is encouraged even if your district does not plan to give an increase this year. The results will allow districts to compare planned pay increases and ensure compensation is competitive.
A recent survey from HR tech firm BambooHR found that 73 percent of respondents would consider leaving their current job for a higher paycheck. Notably, they also indicated it would take a smaller pay raise to get them to leave than in previous years.
Districts should regularly review their compensation and benefits packages to ensure they are keeping pace with market changes and avoid potential turnover.
Invitations for the HR Services Pay Increase Poll will be sent to our primary survey contact in each district (this survey is not available to charter schools or community colleges). Participants will receive a report of results broken out by ESC, enrollment group, and job group. A summary of the results will be posted in the HRX.
