PR1500 Equity Data Survey Changes

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is making changes to the process for collecting teacher and special education paraprofessional data.

Beginning this year, teacher data previously submitted by local education agencies (LEAs) through eGrants using the PR1500 Equity Data Survey will be collected internally by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) from Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) submissions crossed with the Educator Certification Online System (ECOS) data.

Paraprofessional Data

The Federal Program Compliance division will no longer collect the Title 1, Part A paraprofessional data. However, the special education paraprofessional data will still be collected using the PR1500. The Special Education Programs Division will send information on the process for collecting the data at a later date.

Dooley is a seasoned administrator with more than 17 years of HR experience in Central Texas districts as a coordinator, director, and assistant superintendent. She also worked as an assistant principal, counselor, and teacher, and holds a superintendent certificate.

Dooley received her master’s degree from Prairie View A&M University and her bachelor’s degree from Texas State University.
