Wagaman Elected to State Association Board
Austin— Theresa Wagaman of Conroe ISD has been elected to a two-year term on the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Board of Directors, representing TASB Region 6, Position B. The election was held during the Association’s 2023 Delegate Assembly on Sept. 30 in Dallas.
Wagaman is serving her first term on the Conroe ISD Board of Trustees and is currently first vice-president for the board.
A native Texan, she is actively involved in local community organizations, including The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce; the YMCA Advisory Board of Directors; the Behavioral Health and Suicide Prevention Task Force; the National Charity League, Inc., Bluebonnet Chapter; and the Houston Association of REALTORS®. Wagaman serves as past president on The Woodlands Rotary Club Board and a sustainer with the Junior League of The Woodlands. She also is a member of the Leadership Montgomery Class of 2021.
Wagaman attended Texas Tech University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and a master’s in public administration. She is a licensed residential REALTOR®, serving The Woodlands, Spring, and surrounding areas since 2007.
