TEA Strategic Staffing Grant

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) announced the availability of funds for the 2025-2027 Texas Strategic Staffing Grant for Sustainable, Paid Teacher Residency Program.

The two-year grant is designed to provide technical assistance and support to partnerships of districts/charters and educator preparation programs (EPPs) with the goal of designing and implementing paid, year-long, high-quality, sustainable teacher residencies.

The grant is expected to be a one-time grant for the period of June 1, 2025, through April 30, 2027. TEA anticipates awarding approximately 24 grants in the amount of $80,000.
