Texas Federal Advocacy Conference

Advocate for Texas public schools, meet lawmakers, and help shape policy at the Texas Federal Advocacy Conference in Washington, D.C.

At TASB, we understand that decisions and advocacy concerning public schools are not limited to the state and local levels. The federal government plays a crucial role in shaping the public education landscape. That's why we invite you to join us for the Texas Federal Advocacy Conference, where Texas school board members come together to advocate on the national level.

The conference takes place annually in the early months of each year in Washington, D.C. The two-day event is filled with engaging sessions and opportunities to make your voice heard.

The 2025 Conference will take place Jan. 27-28 at the Willard InterContinental Hotel.

During the conference, you learn about the federal issues that directly affect Texas public education. The lineup of esteemed speakers, experts, lawmakers, and legislative staffers provide insights and perspectives that equip you for effective advocacy.

You also have the opportunity to take your advocacy to Capitol Hill. You meet face-to-face with your lawmakers to share the unique needs and challenges of your schools and advocate for the resources and support your students deserve.

Not only will you make a lasting impact on the future of education, but you'll also earn continuing education credit for your participation.
