Advocacy 201: Knowing the Game

The success of your advocacy depends on many factors, including your knowledge of the legislative process. This course provides tips on some essential advocacy skills, including how to track legislation throughout the legislative process, how to read and understand the various components of a bill, how to gauge the political temperature, and best practices for testifying at a committee hearing.
