Governmental Relations Grassroots Meetings

Grassroots Meetings are held in each region during the first quarter of even-numbered years. All Texas trustees are invited to attend. 

Trustees must attend in person to be elected as a Legislative Advisory Council representative for their respective regions and to be eligible to enter the drawing for one $1,000 student scholarship to be awarded at each meeting. These are in-person only meetings. A virtual meeting will be held up on conclusion of all in-person meetings for individuals who could not attend their regional meeting.

The meetings are free and include continuing education credit. In-person attendees will enjoy a dinner provided at no cost.
