Become a Member of Texas Council of School Attorneys
Become a member to get access to training, connections, and resources necessary to help school district clients navigate complicated legal situations.
As a school district attorney, you need practical training, insights, and resources to help your clients navigate complicated legal situations. Membership in the Texas Council of School Attorneys (CSA) provides access to timely legal resources, continuing legal education programs, and opportunities for school attorneys to connect and build relationships with other school lawyers.
CSA meets for its annual school law seminar and business meeting each fall at the annual txEDCON TASA | TASB Convention. CSA members also receive the monthly TASB School Law Update newsletter, which summarizes the legal decisions affecting Texas from the previous month.
After every legislative session, CSA members are invited to attend a post-legislative seminar to discuss new legislation that affects school districts.
CSA membership is available only to those attorneys who represent at least one TASB member district and who have not represented interests against a school district for at least a year.
