Report: Employee Engagement Increases Retention

The Predictive Index’s annual Employee Engagement Report revealed some interesting insights into the variety of factors that lead to employee engagement.

HRDive’s summary of the survey, which polled 3,000 employees across 20 industries, focused on the retention aspect of employee engagement, highlighting additional benefits that contribute to an employee’s desire to stay with a company, such as culture, paid leave, and flexible work schedules.

Some takeaways from the report include:

  • Seventy-one percent of workers are engaged at work
  • Seventy percent of workers like their job
  • Sixty-nine percent like their coworkers
  • Sixty-four percent like their direct managers
