TRS Announces 2024-2025 ActiveCare Rates
TRS-ActiveCare participants will see premium rates increase for the upcoming school year.
On May 3rd, 2024, the Teacher Retirement System (TRS) Board of Trustees approved the 2024-2025 TRS-ActiveCare total premiums for public education employers. To adapt to rising costs in healthcare, TRS adjusted premium rates based on the ESC region of the employer.
Most program participants will see an increase below 10 percent. For more information, including the rates for each region, check out the TRS website.
The ACA Affordability Calculators in the HR Services Resource Library will be updated this summer following the release of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) percentage rate for affordability calculations.
