Help welcome a new superintendent or elected trustees with a facilitated team-building session that lays the groundwork for success.

Any time a new member joins a team, it becomes a whole new team with brand new dynamics. Let TASB experts help your team manage the transitions that come when new trustees are elected or when a new superintendent is selected.  

Consultants from Board Development Services will lead a facilitated transition session to clarify expectations for the team’s working relationship and identify priorities for the near future. The training is customized to the needs of each team and situation and may include:  

  • Reviewing and updating district or team goals 
  • Reviewing or developing team operating procedures 
  • Discovering individual work and communication styles 
  • Reviewing governance and management roles and responsibilities

Membership Information

This service is offered at no additional cost to districts that use TASB Executive Search Services for their superintendent search but is also available for a fee to any TASB Active Member. A strong team depends on a strong foundation, so let TASB help your new team build trust, relationships, and a shared vision for success.  

TASB Active Membership

Active Members consist of the boards of Texas public school districts and education service centers. They have voting privileges in the Association and may participate in all of TASB's services.
