Texas Open Meetings Act
As a trustee, you will spend much of your time participating in school board meetings in which you will vote on important decisions that impact many in your community. The Texas Open Meetings Act regulates how a school board must conduct official business so that it is open and transparent to the public. This course will teach you how to perform your duties as a school district trustee in compliance with the Act. This course satisfies the Texas Attorney General OMA training requirements for school districts.
